What's your maximum group size for a single live training session?
This will depend on the training: some courses are capped at 12 or 16 delegates, but the maximum I will allow is 20 participants. The reason for the different maximum number of people is down to how much individual attention each delegate will need. For example, in highly interactive courses, it may need to be capped to 12, whereas some training may be fine with 20 participants. The only exception for going beyond 20 delegates would be for custom training and presentations: these can be more flexible dependent on your organisational needs.
While Zoom allows for much larger groups, I've found that a maximum of 20 is the sweet spot for an effective, highly interactive session. This size allows every attendee to ask questions, participate in breakout sessions, and get individual attention. For me, the goal is never to just deliver content; it's to create a learning environment where every single person feels heard and engaged.

Live virtual training logistics: What are the technical requirements for participants (e.g., software, internet speed)?
The technical requirements for participants are minimal, which is one of the benefits of live virtual training. All your employees will need is:
A stable internet connection.
A computer, laptop, or tablet.
A webcam and microphone (built-in is fine).
I recommend that participants use a laptop or computer for the best experience, but the training is fully compatible with tablets as well. Phones are not ideal as the screen is too small for the training material.
Do you record the sessions for employees who can't attend?
Due to GDPR and data protection regulations, I do not automatically record sessions. This policy ensures the privacy and consent of all participants.
However, if you'd like a session recorded for employees who can't attend, I can do that for you. The recording will then be uploaded to our CPD Training Hub. This provides a valuable, long-term resource for employees who couldn't make the live session, and it also allows all participants to revisit the content whenever they need a refresher.
How do you ensure accessibility for employees with disabilities?
Ensuring accessibility is a priority for me. My live training sessions are delivered on a platform that offers accessibility features, such as live captioning and keyboard navigation. I also provide all supporting materials in a format that is compatible with screen readers. If you have any specific accessibility needs, I'm happy to discuss them during our initial consultation to ensure every employee has a great learning experience.
What if our employees are in different time zones? How do you manage that?
The beauty of live virtual training is that it's ideal for teams spread across different locations. I can accommodate multiple time zones by scheduling sessions at a time that works for the majority of your team. If that's not possible, the session recording and resources on the CPD Training Hub will ensure that every employee can access the training in their own time.
Do you offer a pilot programme or a free consultation to see if we're a good fit?
I don't offer a formal pilot programme, but I do provide a completely free, no-obligation consultation. This call is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll take the time to understand your business, your team's specific challenges, and your overall goals. It's a risk-free way to explore how my training can provide a genuine solution for you, ensuring you're confident we're the right fit before you commit to anything.

What do you offer that is flexible for our employees who work different hours (and not always 9 - 5)?
This is a common question I get when considering the live virtual training logistics. I understand that a training session within regular business hours doesn't work for everyone. I offer two key solutions to provide flexibility for your employees:
Flexible Scheduling: We can work together to find a time that fits your team's unique schedule, whether that's early in the morning, late in the afternoon, or even split into multiple shorter sessions.
On-Demand Access: The CPD Training Hub provides a powerful solution for flexible learning. Employees can access the full library of recorded courses and resources whenever it's convenient for them, allowing them to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule.
